What we have kept, and what we have renewed

Our aim is to bring the old pictures back into the light while keeping their character. Repairs and color adjustments are interpretations, not a recovery of the exact colors when first printed.

The surviving scans remain distinct from the revised pictures. These are cover comparisons, not a complete facsimile of every page.
